So my Adriana gets alot of bloody noses. Probally a few a month I would say, and it also seems to be for no apparent reason. When she gets one she is so used to it now she just says "mama my nose bleed i get tissue" lol. I asked the doc about it he said some kids get them alot more than others and there is no reason for concern. My husbands dad gets them almost daily. So last night about 1:30 a.m. I hear her little voice at our bedroom door saying "daddy, daddy" she usually calls him since I sleep like a rock! I heard her and asked what was wrong she said "mama my nose bloody so I got a tissue". I was half asleep and said ok mamas coming. So i took her to he bathroom she had a bad ol' bloody nose. It was on her shirt,her pants, her arms, and all in her mouth! My gosh and my lil girl got up all by herself in the pitch dark and got tissue to clean her bloody nose! She did a pretty good job too! You would think she would be scrared or something but no she got up by herself and fixed her nose she said. I cleaned her all the way up and rinsed her mouth since it usually drains in he mouth also when she has bllody noses. Then she went right back to sleep. I was so proud of her I really hit me my baby girl is getting so big. Then my son...oh my lil man! He has been waking up at around 5:40 in the morn for aboout a week now. I am NOT a morning person at all so this really sucks. He has always been a early riser he would alternate between 7:30 then he went to 7:00 ish which was totally fine with me. Then he started moving into the six o'clock hour which was pushing it for me. Now its in the fives!!! Cant take it!! My husband told me today dont worry I will wake up with him and go for walk...I just think we need to teach him he cant wake up that dang early. He wakes up the girls he is so loud!! 6:30 is early, but ok I will deal with it but in the five o'clock hour come on!! I get it kids wake up early he is my last one and I have never had this issue with my girls. They wake up early "kid" time 7 ish so its not like I expect them to wake at 8:30 or anything. So... for the few people who even read my blog what do you think??BTW he goes to bed at 8 and he does take a nap at 2 and usually sleeps till 4:40 or 5. So he does take long naps so we decided to change bedtime to 8:30 (for all he kids since they are getting a bit older). As for his naps I am going to wake him at 4 so he only sleep 2 hours not 3 Im thinking maybe he is napping so long since he wakes so early so thats where he catches his sleep.

My kids don't nap. Benjamin use to but Emily never has. She will take an occasional nap but has never been on a nap schedule. If she naps she doesn't go to bed at a decent time at night. If she goes to bed too early, she wakes up early. One thing with Benjamin, if it's light he wakes up. I don't know about where you are, but it's light here by just after 5 am. Maybe make sure his room is really dark?
I wanted to comment on the bloody nose situation. I use to get bloody noses all the time.... mostly when we lived in Colorado Springs. My mom says the altitude and dry air caused me to have bloody noses.
I hope the sleep situation resolves soon.
Thanks for the help. I was just reading about the bloody nose thing and I think its dry air thats is def a factor. She had the window air conditioner on and the air was def dry. His room is somewhat light, but def not bright. Its just so frustrating because thats just early! I hope its a little faze he will soon get out of.We will be moving in our new house this weekend so no more window air coditioners and I am gunna do his window treatments dark!
